Tattoo's do hurt no matter where they are. And there is only 1 rule to remember when deciding how much pain you will be in, the closer to the bone the more pain there will be. The more fat you have, the less it will hurt because the bone is deeper under the skin. The vibration from the tattoo gun can travel through your bone and radiate through your body. Keep that in mind when deciding on the placement of your tattoo. But they are beautiful and well worth the pain!
